Broccoli Au Gratin
What a delicious Broccoli Au Gratin recipe that is made with cheese sauce and buttered bread crumbs, baked in the oven and served as a side dish. The buttered bread crumbs add so much flavor to this dish.
Yesterday I posted a recipe for a Basic White Sauce. The cheese sauce I made for this Broccoli Au Gratin recipe is from that recipe…..so simple! Below is the link to the Basic White Sauce. At the very bottom of the Basic White Sauce recipe card is directions for turning it into a cheese sauce.

Nice recipe
Wow, this looks heavenly!❤
My grandsons have recently moved out of the family home and are sharing a rented house, so I send them each a budget recipe every so often. The first one was basic white sauce with some ideas on how to use it, including broccoli or cauliflower cheese. It’s a staple in our house, either as a side dish, or with some cooked pasta added with a bit of cchopped bacon, and tomato slices under the topping for a complete meal.
This is an unbutton your pants or wear sweatpants to have another serving dish. 🙂
Oh, that would be so nice when it’s chilly out!
