Well guess what? It’s apple season! My favorite thing to make in the fall is this Slow Cooker Apple Butter. It makes the whole house smell amazing! I made a post last year when I made this. I can imagine how nice the house smelled – perfect for the first day of Fall. We always had it on toast … nicer than jam which can be so sweet sometimes. Now that I’ve given up sweets, I find jam and jelly really sweet.
Sorry, I am a bit puzzled by the recipe. It reads as 5 1/2# of apples. Is that meant to be cups or pounds? Many thanks. It looks and sounds delicious.
So sorry that means 5 & 1/2 pounds to start with…the whole apples before peeling and coring. I hope this helps.
