Cream Cheese & Bacon Stuffed Celery
If you can’t get your family to eat their vegetables, try celery with this delicious flavored cream cheese. Do you need a quick and easy appetizer? What about a wonderful snack to have in the refrigerator? Celery stuffed with cream cheese has been around forever yet we tend to forget about making it! I like a little flavor with mine so I add bacon and green onion. These are so simple to make and they disappear fast!
Ingredients
Rinse the celery stalks.
Use a paper towel and pat the celery stalks dry.
Cut off the ends and cut each stalk into four pieces.
In a medium bowl, cream the cream
cheese with the back of a spoon.
Add the green onions and bacon.
Cream the bacon and onion into the cream cheese.
Cover and refrigerate for two hours or
more so the flavors meld together.
Using a knife, fill the celery pieces
with the cream cheese mixture and serve.
Cover and refrigerate any leftovers.

Wonderful snack or appetizer! I love the bacon addition, too. I think we always used chopped green olives, which I loved, but my mouth is watering thinking of how good it must be with the bacon.
It really was Robin! I grew up with just the cream cheese so adding green onion and bacon is a real treat for me! Have a great day Robin!
You, too!
Plus, it’s low carb! I’m definitely going to make this soon!
Enjoy they are so good with the bacon and green onion!
great idea, looks awesome as well!
Thanks!
And there goes the diet celery! But it makes it palatable! LOL! 😆
Hahaha you still get your veggies right? Lol
😆
These sound great. Years ago I use to make something similar and forgot about it. I’m going to try this. My grandkids love long carrots and dip. This would be great thinned a little for a dip.
Oh yes I could eat this stuff with a spoon! A dip would be wonderful!
Looks yummy
The simple things are so often the best. Live the crispness of celery.
Whoops – that live should have been love, can you correct please Diane.
That’s super clever!
When I was growing up, we used a pimento cream cheese that came in little glasses. Once we’d stuffed the celery and used up all the cheese, we washed the glasses and used them for juice. I’d forgotten how good that was!
That looks good and I bet kids like it even better than “Ants on a Log”.
What a way to bribe the kids into eating their greens.
I’m never disappointed coming to your blog😩😩😩😲😲😲😲
What an awesome recipe… never had it before… it has to be tried at home..
