Amish Style Meatloaf
Who doesn’t love an easy and moist meatloaf topped off with cheese? You won’t find any packages of soup mix or cans of anything in this delicious meatloaf. This meatloaf is made from scratch and it tastes like it.
Ingredients
In a large bowl add all of the
ingredients except 1/2 cup ketchup
and 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese.
Mix until combined well.
Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray.
Put the ground beef mixture
into the loaf pan evenly.
Pour 1/2 cup ketchup on top and
sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for
60 minutes or until the center of the
ground beef is 155 degrees. Let rest in
the pan for 5-10 minutes. Remove from
the pan, slice then serve.

Looks Great! Thank you for reminding me about meatloaf! We haven’t had it for a while, but it is really good!
Isn’t it crazy how we forget about some of our favorite foods! Thank you Valerie!
Yum!!
Thanks Erica!
Are there ever any leftovers in your fridge? Not if I ever came to visit!!!!
Yes there is come on over!!
Oh man, I’m so there!!!

Hello. I will have to give this a try. Along with the Pizza stuffed meatloaf and the Pizza meatloaf. My daughter will hopefully like meatloaf then. thanks for sharing these recipe’s.
My grandkids love all of these and they are picky eaters! I hope your daughter loves them as much as they did!
I’ve actually never tried a meatloaf before but this looks like a great recipe!
Thank you Rebecca! My husband loves the Lipton Onion Soup recipe so I usually make that. I’m not a lover of meatloaf except for the one I make with Stove Top Stuffing (recipe in my file) and this one! I will eat this one anytime!
Looks good
Thank you!!!
This looks delicious!
Thanks Christy!
This looks good Diane – I’ve never made meatloaf. My mom used to make lasagna meatloaf with lots of cheese on top. I think a nice fat slice of meatloaf on toast is one of the tastiest treats I’ve ever had.
I’ve never tried meatloaf on toast. You give me the best ideas. Thanks Linda!
Oh yes … nice crunchy toast with a little mustard … next day, cold and don’t even need to heat it up. It was just my mom and me, so we always have leftover meatloaf. Stick with me kid … I’ll offer up my suggestions. 🙂
I love meatloaf cold!
Meatball sandwiches cold too!
Oh yeah!
Looks very good and tasty
Thank you Francina!
Takes me back to my childhood when meatloaf was a staple. It was a favourite. I’ll have to give this a try and see if it’s as good as mum used to make.
I’m not a big lover of meatloaf but this was really, really good! Let me know if it is a good as your mums.
Here is a second great recipe for meatloaf, in less than two months! I will need to do this, either as meatloaf or as filling for stuffed bell peppers, another favourite of mine.
What a great idea for filling peppers. This seriously would be great for that as well as eating as meatloaf. Thank you for a great idea!
I. Want. Some. Now. 🙂
Hang on I drop it off! Lol
Thanks!
Looks delicious! I have never had cheese on it before cannot wait to try.
This was my first time too and it was delicious! Enjoy!
