Herbed Vegetable Dip
If you like dip with your vegetables, try this homemade Herbed Vegetable Dip instead of buying it from the store. You can make it in a few minutes, let it sit in the refrigerator for a couple of hours so that the flavors can meld together then enjoy. It was so good!
I made my own mayonnaise for this dip, recipe link is below, but of course you can use store bought mayonnaise.

Usually I would put dill weed into this dip, however, I did not have any dill weed. I did have dill seed so I used my mortar and pestal and crushed the seeds to a powder. It gave the dip a delicious dill flavor. Never be afraid to experiment when cooking. I also made my own dry mustard by crushing the mustard seeds the same way. Now, you won’t need to do this if you don’t want to. You can just add fresh dill weed and store bought dry mustard.
Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine
all of the ingredients.
Mix well with a spoon.
Refrigerate for at least two hours.
Stir before serving.
Serve with raw vegetables.

This sounds great, and I’d never have thought to add soy sauce to a cream-based vegetable dip! You always have such great ideas!!
Thank you! The soy sauce adds so much flavor and eliminates the need for salt.
Nice recipe
Thank you!
This is exactly my kind of dip! yum! <3
Me too Linda!
What a gorgeous looking dip!❤️
Thank you! It tasted really good too. I actually like cooked veggies better…unless there’s dip!
This looks delicious! I love to dip my veggies into humous, so this is a nice alternative x
Great! I hope you enjoy it, I know we did! Thank you Rebecca!
Something to dip all your homegrown veggies in! Good way to get kids to eat their veggies.
Husband too…lol Thank you Linda!
Wonderful dip! Like the addition of soy sauce in here.
Thank you Megala! You don’t need salt that way.
I am quite curious about this. I know of all ingredients except dill. How does dill taste like?
It is what gives cucumbers their taste turning them in to Dill Pickles (along with vinegar)
Love this dip!
Thank you it made the veggies taste pretty good!
