Sweet Corn Herbed Butter

Don’t just serve your Sweet Corn with plain butter! Add your favorite herbs and seasonings and give some pizzazz to your Sweet Corn. Cook your Sweet Corn like you normally would, melt some butter and then add some delicious herbs and seasonings to the butter. Brush the mixture onto the Sweet Corn for a fabulous tasting Sweet Corn with Herbed Butter.

Ingredients

Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.

Add the parsley, pepper and

paprika to the melted butter.

over each ear of corn then serve.

Sweet Corn Herbed Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 dozen ears of cooked sweet corn
  • 1 stick salted butter (1/2 cup)
  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley (or 2 tsp dried parsley)
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Directions

  1. In a small pan over low heat, melt the butter.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir.
  3. Brush Herbed Butter all over the sweet corn and serve.

  1. I’m disappointed. Your recipes are always “easy” as far as difficulty. Give me something “extra hard”. Like a black truffle full tenderloin Beef Wellington, made with crimini mushrooms and served with a hollandaise sauce and veal demi glacé. How else am I going to grow culinarily?? 😞

  2. I love, love, love sweet corn. Do you only eat it as part of a meal, or will you just eat sweet corn on its own. People think I’m a bit strange because I’ll eat it on its own, and often just plain and raw. It’s so juicy.

    • I may be even stranger…lol I like to make a dozen and eat it as a side dish for supper. Then I bag up the leftovers and eat them for lunch the next day. It makes for a great meal!
