These are the best Frozen Green Beans I have ever made! Don’t get me wrong, I have liked them fixed other ways but this way is now my favorite! They didn’t even taste like they were frozen by baking them with the bacon on top. They are full of so much flavor and they were simple and quick to make. I will be making them this way from now on! You can change this up by adding onions or leaving out the brown sugar if you want.

      • Ever done bacon strips wrapped around asparagus? My best friend does it and loves it. She has promised when she cooks it again, she will have me over. It’s been a while though and I will say she quietly…”she isn’t the best cook” shhhhhh! Where as I have four children, 2 grown, 1 very picky teen, and a 11 year old that will eat anything. But with all the food allergies, gluten being one with two of the kids and myself, we haven’t explored too far with food.

      • No I haven’t tried that yet. What’s funny is I grow my own asparagus and I love it so much! Every year I want to do that and end up fixing it with bacon sprinkled on top. We cook 2#’s of bacon at a time, freeze the crumbled cooked bacon and I just take out what I need for whatever recipe or even salads. Makes for a quicker meal…lol

  1. I’ve been enjoying eating green beans lately I didn’t think to make them with bacon. This looks yummy I’ll have to try it sometime 😀

    • Every time I go to our farm market the fresh green beans look awful so I never buy them. Let me know how it tastes using fresh and if you needed to cook them longer.

    • Some of my followers have been telling me they use fresh. I can never find nice fresh green beans so I don’t and we don’t grow them anymore. Just cook them until they are to where you like them. Thank you Katelon!
