Steak Marinade
I can’t believe how wonderful this steak tasted just by putting it in this marinade! Steak can be flavored in many ways. My usual way is to sprinkle my steak with a dry seasoning and throw it on the grill. Today I decided to make a marinade using some of my dehydrated garden herbs and other ingredients. Let me tell you, it was fabulous!
I adapted this recipe from http://www.allrecipes.com
Ingredients
In a small bowl add all of the ingredients except for the steaks.
Using a blender, food processor or an immersion blender,
blend for about 30 seconds until combined.
Place your steak into a resealable bag.
Pour the marinade into the bag with the steaks.
Let the steak sit in the refrigerator for up to 8 hours.
Cook the steak your favorite way then serve.

Thank you Christy it tasted great!
on for Saturday!
Enjoy!!!! Let me know how you like it.
Perfect timing. Tomorrow night just happens to be steak night at Casa Blaine. I will try this!
Fantastic! Let me know what you think.
I used fresh basil and parsley from my garden so I doubled the amounts. Made the marinade tonight. I’ll put the steaks in tomorrow around noon so they’ll be ready for dinner.
Keep in mind that 1 tsp dried herbs are equal to 3 tsp (1Tbsp) fresh herbs. So you may want to add more if you only doubled the basil and parsley. Let me know how you like it.
Ah, so doubling it wasn’t enough. Story of my life. Too little, too late. 😞
It will still be good! It will still get the flavor.
And where was this post two weeks ago when I needed a flank steak marinade?!?!? Ha! Looks awesome and I want to try it 🙂
Hahaha sorry about that but better late than never right? This would be good on any type of meat, even chicken! I hope you get a chance to try it!
Looks delicious! I’ll have to try your recipe.
Thank you let me know if you love it a much as I did!
Yummy..😋
Thanks Sunny!
My pleasure 😊
I think I have been over-doing the vegetarian meals because my husband told me he has been craving a steak. I’m definitely trying this marinade! I can’t wait!
Lol my husband would be the same way! I made BLT the other day and I fixed mine in the lettuce as a wrap. He said no way and had his the traditional way…Toast! I can’t get him to change! Enjoy the steak I really loved this marinade! I hope you and your husband do too!
Ha! Ha! That’s funny! The lettuce wrap BLT sounds good to me!
Thanks for sharing this. I’m always looking for new ways to marinade steak.
You’re welcome! It is very good!
