Sounds so good, Diane! Especially with the green pepper and onion. Thank you as always for the great recipe ideas!!
Thank you! My husband would have loved the green pepper and onion too but he was working and I made this for the grandkids and me…..lol
I made this today (with your lemon parmesan dressing) and it was amazing! I put it over pasta with peppers and green onions. So perfect for the heat wave we’re having at the moment! I made a double batch of the dressing for salad too. Thanks again for your great recipe ideas!!
Thank you for telling me! I just finished a bowl for lunch. So refreshing with a little tang!
Super-yummy! Delicious and perfect for a summer dinner in the garden😀😁
Ciao
Sid
Oh yes the garden sounds wonderful!
Anxious to make this with your homemade salad dressing!
You can really taste the parmesan! We loved it and I hope you do too!
I’m sure we will. We eat quite a few dishes with Parmesan cheese. 🙂
Diane this looks really good. I think it would also be good with strips of grilled beef.
Or chicken! Any meat would taste good. Thanks for a great idea!
OMG sounds so yum ..for sure going to try this :)……thanks diane
You are welcome! Enjoy!
Looks tasty
Thanks!
Amazing recipe… yummy and healthy salad that one can enjoy anytime..😊
Thank you!
So simple. I wasn’t thinking of broccoli, but that is a nice change. I would probably add green onion as well, but I am going to try this one during the week. Yum.
Yes change it up to your own liking! Chicken, beef or whatever meat you want to use along with the veggie. I almost put peas in it instead of broccoli! I just finished the last of ours for lunch.
That’s a great meal for hot days … our last four days would be perfect for this dish. My mom used to make this a lot in the Summer, sometimes substituting smoked sausage.
I’m hopelessly behind in Reader, between my work schedule and these storms … we have another one coming in in an hour or so – I’m hoping to catch up a little first. Doing two long blog posts over the weekend also put me behind.
Oh I bet sausage is great with this! Hope you get caught up I know I never seem too!
That smoked sausage was good with it … my mom used to just use the Suddenly Salad with the Italian seasonings and add some more Italian seasonings and we often had that in the Summer. The smoked sausage was easier to slice cold with no cooking necessary.
I did a long blog post tonight and it is 10:00 and I’m just going through comments … I’ve been horribly busy at work, and before I used to pop on during the day to do Reader but that hasn’t happened in about 3-4 months. That pesky work gets in the way sometimes! I am behind with e-mails with friends and on Facebook as well. When we retire, we’ll catch up on everything.
Oh I can’t wait for that day!
Looks Yummy!
Thanks I’m addicted to pasta…lol
You’re most welcome. Love reading you page 😀
