Frozen Strawberry Cream Pie

This delicious Frozen Strawberry Cream Pie recipe makes two pies to put into your freezer. Make one for now and the other to give away or eat later. I made this with my homegrown strawberries, however, you can use fresh or frozen strawberries. This recipe is a little more complicated than I usually post but if you read my step by step directions, even a beginner should be able to make this. Don’t be afraid to give it a try because it is worth it!

  1. Oh goodness, this dessert is so perfect in so many ways, Diane! Who doesn’t love strawberries? And how come yours all look just like the ones from the Strawberry Shortcake cartoon? FUN! Lovin’ this dessert recipe immensely!

  2. *gasp* 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
I must try this it looks so delicious!!!! Question: does the butter need to be room temperature before mixing. Some recipes I’ve tried that require beating the butter and or egg never work for me and never actually form peaks so I’m just curious lol. I want to know what I’m doing wrong lol.

    • There is not any butter in the recipe. If you mean the whipping cream, nothing gets added to it just whip it for this recipe. Then it gets folded in. You fold it in instead of stirring because folding keeps the air in the whipping cream which keeps it fluffy. Then when you mix it with the beat it stays fluffy. You can do this!

      • oh did I read it wrong? LOL my bad! that’s what little sleep does to me LOL
but thanks for the tip! I’ll be sure to credit you if I ever try it 🙂

  3. I really enjoy the recipe. I hope you to very soon visit & read my latest posts. Thanks for providing the recipe. It’s my dad’s favourit. I will cook it today for him then share the experience with you. Thanks.

  4. This looks absolutely delicious Diane. Strawberry season is almost upon us, so this is definitely going on the menu!

  5. Sounds yummy. I’ve made something similar before but it called for cool whip, so I found a more healthy alternative in the market. But I like the idea of using real whipping cream instead.
