Ham Loaf

This Ham Loaf blew me away! I have never made Ham Loaf before because my husband isn’t a lover of ham. This is made with ground ham and ground pork. My husband and my granddaughter said they couldn’t tell I made it with ham and everybody cleaned their plates! I’ve seen Ham Loaf with glazes but I decided to leave it plain and I’m glad I did because it tasted great without being smothered in all that sugar.

  1. This looks really good Diane. I think I’ll try it for one of my next dinners with my sister. We get together for dinner once a week.

    • You will want to send some home with her or freeze the leftovers. It is a great meal for company! That is so cool you two get together once a week. Time with family is so important!

  2. Haven’t heard of Ham Loaf. Interesting! By the way, I love your pictures and instructions. Makes me want to run into my kitchen and start cooking. 🙂

    • That’s what this was, Easter ham. The day after Easter they had a huge ham on sale for practically nothing. We cut it into chucks and froze it. Practically a free meal!

      • That is the time to scoop up a ham for sure. My mom used to chunk up the remaining ham (and we got a fairly small one) and use it to make quiche … loved that, with spinach and the French-fried onions on top. The whole house would small of it, and when I took leftovers to work to heat up in the microwave the next day, the kitchen would smell heavenly and everyone wanted the recipe for it!

  3. This sounds very good, Diane. I’d never thought about making a ham loaf until seeing yours. How’s the countdown going until new oven and cooktop arrive? I hope delivery and installation go perfectly so you can get back into your routine.
