Sun Catcher
This Sun Catcher was made In Diane’s Kitchen! For those that follow me you know I work with developmentally disabled adults. My autistic client made this with my help. I saw this on Pinterest.
All we did is take a sour cream plastic lid, put Elmer’s clear school glue about half way up the inside of the lid and my client arranged the marbles (the kind that are round on one side and flat on the other.) It did take almost three days to dry. I carefully peeled it out of the lid on day two. They sell the marbles for $1.00 at The Dollar Tree and the school glue was under $3.00 and can be found anywhere. There was enough glue and marbles to do about 2-3 more.

Dianne, I’ve been following your posts for some time now, but I didn’t know you worked with developmentally disabled adults. I’m sure it must be rewarding at times, and frustrating at times too. Well done you!
Thank you Chris! Yes to both. I have been doing it for bout 10 years now. I have worked with many clients with many different disabilities and have had the two I work with now for about 10 years. It is very rewarding. I even bring them to my house.
What a great idea, can’t wait to make one of these. Thanks.
Takes a few days to dry but very pretty! Thank you!
