Homemade Onion Dip
I made this Homemade Onion Dip recipe to use as a chip dip and let me tell you, it tasted delicious! It was another simple recipe with only a few ingredients but a taste that was wonderful! I had all of the ingredients on hand already making it even simpler!
Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine all of the ingredients.
Using a mixer on low-speed, mix until combined.
Store covered in the refrigerator overnight
then serve as a dip with whatever you want.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Ranch Dressing
- 8 oz sour cream
- 1 Tbsp freshly chopped chives
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 Tbsp dried onions
- 1/4 tsp salt
Directions
- In a medium bowl combine all of the ingredients.
- Using a mixer on low-speed, mix until thoroughly combined.
- Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator overnight then serve.
- Serve as a dip with your favorite food like chips or vegetables.
- Refrigerate leftovers.

My onion dip recipe has reduced cream and a packet of onion soup mix 😬This sounds healthier.
That’s how my mom made hers! Much less salt and you could still use low fat cream cheese and sour cream. Thanks ateafan!
