Nice recipe
Thanks Mistimaan!
My mom used to make theses a lot, but she put cucumbers in as well.
I also make a marinated onion, tomato and cucumber dish that I love when the fresh garden veggies are ready. I will eat the entire bowl!
Great when its too hot to boil vinegar and sterilise jars. Thanks again.
You’re welcome! Yes they are great any time but they just don’t last long in my house…lol

Thanks so much for sharing this recipe! Can’t wait to try it!
You’re welcome they are so good!
I finally got around to trying this and loved them. They also looked so beautiful in the jar. I was out of cider vinegar so used the white that I had and it worked fine. I bought some cider vinegar to make another round. Great recipe and so easy!!!
The longer they sit the prettier the vinegar gets from the purple onion. I’m so glad you liked them! Thank you for letting me know. It makes blogging so worth it!
My mother used to make these and it was our favourite…I will also try my hands on it.
So simple and good!
