Slow Cooker Roast and Gravy
Slow Cooker Roast and Gravy can be made by adding just two ingredients to the roast. Once it’s cooked, you have so many possibilities! Below is five different ways to use the roast.
- Slice with gravy on top.
- Slice or shred with the gravy for an open face sandwich.
- Shred with gravy over mashed potatoes.
- Shred and add BBQ sauce for sandwiches.
- Shred and use it for shredded beef sandwiches as I am doing.
Anything you make with it will be delicious when you add just 2 ingredients to the beef in the slow cooker.
Ingredients
Place your roast in the slow cooker.
I am making two roasts so I can have some
already cooked and shredded for the freezer for future meals.
Mix the dry gravy pouch according to it’s directions.
Use one gravy pouch for one roast.
Put the lid on and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
Remove the meat to a cutting board.
Strain any large pieces of fat from the gravy and discard.
Doesn’t that gravy look amazing!
Now from here you can go ahead and slice it, make
mashed potatoes and you already have your gravy made!
I shredded my meat, mixed it with the some gravy
and used it for sandwiches.
Anyway you decide to serve it, enjoy that wonderful flavor for such an easy meal!

Once I get my slow cooker, I need to make this!
There are so many ways to cook a roast in the slow cooker. Another good one is to add Lipton Onion Soup pouch with a can of beef broth and/or a pouch of gravy.
You’re making my mouth water. Lol That also sounds delicious!
