Stop paying that ridiculous price for a Cappuccino or Latte at the coffee shop! You can make a homemade Cappuccino or Latte with the help from your microwave! Yes you read that right. All you need is a Mason Jar Milk Steamer, your microwave to steam the milk & make the froth and a shot of espresso.

They sell espresso machines for different prices and a cheap one will do. If you don’t want to invest in a froth maker, make the froth in the microwave with your Mason Jar Milk Steamer for either a Latte or a Cappuccino. OK all the Mason Jar Milk Steamer is, is a Mason jar with a lid and metal ring but this is pretty cool so read on!

The difference between a Latte and a Cappuccino is the amount of steamed milk that is in them. I use to work at Dunkin Donuts and this is their way of making them. Of course when I made mine it had caramel added! I took the picture and information below from their website: http://www.dunkindonuts.com.

Remove the screw ring and lid and place the Mason Jar in the microwave.

Microwave on high for 30 seconds this will stabilize the foam.

Immediately pour the steamed milk and froth into your

espresso, saving the froth for the top then serve.
