Thanks I love oatmeal!
Reblogged this on Die Erste Eslarner Zeitung – Aus und über Eslarn, sowie die bayerisch-tschechische Region!.
Thank you for sharing my blog!
Thank you for this. I’m working on replacing my high calorie, high fat morning pastry during the work week with oatmeal and blueberries. I buy the box of Quaker oatmeal packets that come in three different flavors. I’d love to get it closer to natural. And this does the trick. Thank you again.
You are very welcome! It is so easy to make. Make your weeks supply all at once in sealed containers to make it even easier.
Always like to make my breakfast as simple as possible and I would love to try this !!
I like that you can’t make them up for the week then just grab and go! Putting them in a Mason jar keeps them fresh until you are ready to eat them.
I like using mason jars for quick and go recipes.
They are so durable too!
I really shouldn’t peruse your blog before I’ve eaten breakfast. If you could hear my stomach gurgle…
Hahaha well at least this one is a good healthy recipe…lol I just love seeing your baby pictures! Great blog!
Thank you. 🙂
You visited my site the other day and I wanted to swing over and say hello. This breakfast sounds pretty delish. I like soaked oats with unsweetened almond milk (and skip the b. sugar we have a diabetic in the house). Like the travel jar idea a lot! Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome and I really love your blog, we have a lot of the same interests!
Going to make this for myself! I love baked oatmeal but this is quicker! Thanks
You’re welcome! You can even make up a week’s supply of the dry ingredients in a Mason jar so you just add boiling water and it’s ready.
I can never remember the ratio or if I should use quick cooking oats or old fashioned oats. Thanks for the reminder!
You’re welcome!
While I am not a real fan of oatmeal I do eat the steel cut oats occasionally. But that takes at least 1/2 hour to make. There is also an old story of mine about nagging my mother to buy Maypo.
Be careful you are aging yourself! Hahahaha My favorite as a kid was Cream of Wheat.
Thanks for sharing this recipe, Diane. I’ve always liked oatmeal.
You’re welcome Janet.
We eat lots of oatmeal…so easy to jazz it up with nuts, berries, honey too. Looks really gourmet in the jar!
Thank you Laurel! It is nice to change it up a bit so you don’t get tired of it, like that would ever happen. 😂
