OXO Good Grips Meat Tenderizer
I received this OXO Good Grips Meat Tenderizer as a gift for Christmas. My really OLD wooden one held up through all these years but it just looks…well…OLD! I use it all the time for flattening my meats and tenderizing any tough meat. I also use it for things like crushing nuts, crackers or hard candy.
I like this tenderizer because it works well, it won’t trap the bacteria like my old wooden one does and it is balanced just right in my hand. The soft handle gives a nice cushion to my hand when pounding. The cost was only $15.00 and should last a long time.
The only disadvantage about this OXO Good Grips Meat Tenderizer is that it is not dishwasher safe, however, they do sell others that are dishwasher safe. We wash most of our dishes by hand so I really don’t mind.

What would you say a person should look for when purchasing a meat tenderizer I’m sure they are not all made one in the same
Durability but I really like the way this one is balanced in my hand! Also find one that won’t harbor bacteria like my old wooden one!
