Creamy Ranch Pea Salad
If you are a ranch dressing lover then you will love this Creamy Ranch Pea Salad. It is a great combination of peas, bacon, onion (optional), cheese and ranch dressing. The best part is that it can be made ahead of time and it doesn’t take very long to make! Keep it in the refrigerator until you are ready to eat! My brother in law introduced this recipe to me.
Ingredients
Bring a quart of water to a boil over medium heat.
Put the peas in and when the water comes
back to a boil, boil for one minute.
Drain the peas. Let them cool slightly
and put them in the refrigerator,
covered, for 30 minutes or until cool.
In a medium bowl add the cold peas,
cheese, bacon,onions (optional) and
ranch dressing.
Carefully stir to combine. Keep covered
and refrigerated until ready to serve.

I am one of the few persons in the world who does not like bacon. However, this looks like it would be just as wonderful with crispy onions or shallots!
