I have experimented with so many Meatball recipes and this is another one that I love. I made these Meatballs for our spaghetti dinner with our grandkids. They were so delicious that I was eating the leftovers cold from the refrigerator the next day.

  1. I am too lazy to make meat balls since the first think people do with them once they are on the plate is squish them. I just make ground meat. 🙂

      • That (being lazy) and I don’t like to handle meat, so I just don’t make meat balls. I vaguely remember my husband making a sad face when I explained/announced the fact that I don’t make meat balls. But I feel that if he wants them that bad he can make them. I’m gonna squish ’em on my plate no matter what.

  2. Meatballs are a lot of work ! But they hold in the moisture. I have never found one store bought that compares to homemade. These look great I will have to to try and get Rebel Girl to make these. 🙂 As always great recipe Diane.

    • Oh yes there is so much you can do with them. My problem was after the eating them with the first meal, I kept grabbing them cold out of the refrigerator…ugh. They were just as good cold!

  3. Thanks for the recipe. I made meatballs for my daughter’s engagement party and didn’t cook the meatballs ahead of time according to the recipe. But, I chose the lowest amount of time in the slow cooker, as well. You may guess what happened, some were raw. Delicious for the cooked ones, but… I sure heard about it and it was embarrassing! Thanks for the recipe. They sound really good.
