Fruit Salad
What do you do with all that delicious fruit that is at it’s peak? Why not make a healthy and delicious lunch that has no added sugar.
Ingredients: I used canned pineapple, in it’s own juice, which helps in keeping the fruit from turning brown.
Keep in mind, any of your favorite fruit can be used. This is just what I had in my house at the time. I grow my own blueberries and freeze them so I thawed them out to use. Fresh blueberries work better.
If you like sweetness with your fruit you can do that one of two ways. Buy canned pineapple in heavy syrup instead of it’s own juice or add sugar to the fruit.

Ingredients
1 – 20 oz can pineapple chunks, in it’s own juice
Any of your favorite fruits here is what I used:
honey dew melon
blueberries
pear
nectarine
banana
mandarin orange
Directions
Wash all of your fresh fruit. Cut the fruit into bite size pieces. Place the pieces in a bowl and pour the pineapple and it’s juice over top. Gently mix with a large spoon and serve immediately. Refrigerate leftovers but they won’t stay at their peak for very long.
If you want to have more sweetness to your Fruit Salad, use pineapple in a heavy syrup or add sugar.

If only the season lasted longer!
Going to do that one. Looks delicious!
Thanks I enjoyed it a lot! Have a great weekend!
Healthy foods… Anyway, recommendation is to use coconut oil as syrup (coconut oil is the best). Yours looks great!
Not only healthy but the coconut oil would taste great! Not sure if we have it in our stores. I will have to look.
Playing with your food I see. Hee hee.
Hahaha that’s what makes it fun!
