Beef Tips and Noodles
Sirloin Steak simmered until fork tender and smothered in a homemade delicious gravy over noodles is so good! I have been making this since my kids were little.
I use to pay a fortune for a commercial frozen food truck to deliver food when I didn’t have time to cook. We all loved their Beef Tips in Gravy. I finally said I can make this cheaper, just as easy, taste better and I know what is in it. After all, I had to cook the noodles either way.
Ingredients
Pour 32 oz of beef broth into a medium pan with salt and pepper.
Add the cut up beef and heat over medium heat until it boils.
Turn heat down to a simmer and simmer with a lid for one hour.
Place 3-1/2 cups of beef broth
into a measuring cup and set aside.
Discard any remaining broth in the pan.
Remove beef from the pan, set aside.
In another large pot cook the pasta according to package directions.
Pour the 3-1/2 cups of beef broth
back into the pan that you took it out of.
Stir in the melted butter and heat to boiling.
Slowly whisk in the flour and try not to leave any lumps.
Once broth thickens up, add the beef and turn
to a simmer until noodles are done.
Drain the noodles completely.
Place the noodles into a large bowl.
Add beef tips and gravy and gently mix.
Place on a plate and serve.
