Beef Kabobs
My husband loved these Beef Kabobs and I loved making them! Between us I used green pepper, onion, tomato, mushrooms, jalapeno peppers and sirloin steak. What’s nice about kabobs is you can make each skewer with what each person likes to eat. You can even leave out the veggies and just cook meat. Maybe alternate beef, pork and chicken or what ever you want, just use your imagination. Use just about any type of veggie that you can stick a skewer through. I adapted my marinade recipe from http://www.food.com. I cooked the Beef Kabobs in my cast iron pans, but you can use any pan or even grill them. Give them a try because they were very delicious and so much fun to make!
Ingredients
Cut sirloin steak into cubes.
In a Ziploc bag, mix the marinade ingredients.
Add beef and mushrooms to the marinade bag. Refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
Wash the veggies and cut them to about the same size as the beef. Do not cut cherry tomatoes.
Soak wooden skewers in water for 1/2 hour. I used a large deep platter for this.
Drain the marinade from the bag and discard. It should not be used again. Pierce the beef and veggies onto the wooden skewers.
Cook in a large hot pan over medium low heat with vegetable oil or on a grill until cooked to your liking.

Ingredients
1-2# sirloin steak
Vegetables of your choice
MARINADE:
1-1/2 cups oil
3/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
3 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 cup wine vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
1/2 cup honey
Directions
Cut the sirloin steak into large cubes, cutting away fat and bones.
In a gallon size Ziploc bag, mix the all of the marinade ingredients. Add sirloin steak and mushrooms (if you use them). Refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
Soak the wooden skewers in water for 1/2 hour or more. This is so they do not catch fire and burn.
Wash and cut up what ever vegetables you are using. Drain the marinade from the sirloin steak and discard as the marinade should not be used again. Pierce the steak and veggies onto the wooden skewers.
Heat a large pan with about 2 Tbl of oil and cook the Beef Kabobs to your liking, turning to cook all sides evenly. You may also cook these on a grill.
