Creamy Cucumbers & Onions
This recipe belongs to my husband’s family. In fact he made it and all I had to do was take pictures. His Mom created this recipe for her husband while my husband was still a child. My husband has made this every year since we were married, 27 years ago! I Googled Creamy Cucumbers and all the recipes were made with sour cream. My mother in law and my husband make this with Miracle Whip. You may be seeing a pattern here, our family loves Miracle Whip. This is very quick and easy to make. Our cucumbers aren’t ready yet in our garden so we purchased this one.
Ingredients
Peel the cucumber and cut it into chunks.
Thinly slice the onion and place in the cucumber bowl.
Mix the Miracle Whip and milk until smooth.
Add Miracle Whip mixture to cucumbers.
Add salt, pepper and dill seed.
Mix well and serve.
