Guacamole Dip

I can’t believe I am blogging about Guacamole Dip! The only thing I like that is in Guacamole Dip is the salt…..lol. This blog is compliments of my husband! Since I don’t like Guacamole Dip…avocados in general….I never made it and he wanted to try it. There are many different recipes for Guacamole Dip but he wanted to try a simple recipe to see how he liked it before trying a more complex recipe. This has to be one of the easiest dips you could ever make. It would be a great addition on any party table.

The best part about this recipe is that it only has four ingredients.

Wash off the avocado and slice it in half being careful not to cut into the seed.

Twist the avocado exposing the seed.

Carefully tap a sharp knife into the center of the seed.

Hold the avocado and twist the knife stuck in the seed releasing the seed.

Using a spoon, scoop out the meat of the avocado being careful not to dig into the skin.

I just love using a pastry blender for things like this. You can also use a potato masher or even a fork. Mash the avocado meat until it is a semi smooth.

Add the lime juice, salt and onion. Mix well and serve.
