Slow Cooker Basil Garlic Pork Chops
This recipe makes the best Pork Chops I have ever had. While it cooks it makes its own gravy. No need to set out knives with this meal, you can cut it with a fork! Whip up some noodles, as I did, or mashed potatoes for a great home cooked meal sure to please everyone.
Twelve ingredients and a slow cooker is all you need for this delicious meal.
Heat a large frying pan and 2-3 Tbl of oil until hot.
In a small bowl, combine salt, pepper, garlic powder, basil and 1 Tbl of the paprika.
Coat both sides of the pork chops with seasonings.
Lightly coat the pork chops with flour.
Place pork chops into hot frying pan over medium heat and fry until a golden brown on both sides. Remove pork chops and set aside. Don’t they look delicious already!
Add another 2-3 Tbls oil to the same frying pan. Add onion and 1 Tbl paprika, mixing well and cooking until the onion are just beginning to cook, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix water, soup and gravy.
Pour into the slow cooker.
Place pork chops in gravy liquid. Can’t you just smell it already? YUMMY!
Top with the onions. Put the lid on and cook on low for 5-6 without removing the lid.

Yup, it’s printed out!!
I hope you love it much as my entire family does!
I’m sure we will!
You are so right. They did look delicious after just going into the frypan…..and while I was reading your recipe Paul’s cooking our Sunday breakfast – bacon, eggs and oven roasted tomatoes. The smells from our kitchen, together with the photos of your pork chops definitely has me salivating.
LOL Now I am salivating! I skipped breakfast!
Will definitely have to try this. I haven’t found a crockpot recipe for pork chops I loved yet. Maybe this will be the one.
I hope it is!
