Seasoned Normandy Vegetables

I have made a lot of food in my lifetime. But one area I lack in is vegetables. My husband will eat a salad every day but me, I could care less if I even have a vegetable. It’s not that I don’t like them, because I do, but for some reason I’m just not crazy about having them with my supper. Now at lunch time….I can eat an entire plate as my meal. When they came up with the microwave veggies, I was ecstatic! Place the bag in the microwave, press start and in a few minutes you have easy, hot and delicious veggies. Here is a recipe I came up with to add to Normandy Vegetables to give them a different and delicious taste.

1/4 tsp dried basil

1/4 tsp salt

1/8 tsp dried oregano

Directions

Cook the veggies in the microwave (or cook by any means) and drain. In a small bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients. Pour over veggies and gently toss, coating all the veggies with the herb mixture.
