Tropical BBQ Slow Cooker Chicken
This is one of the easiest meats you will ever prepare. It is done completely in the slow cooker. It has a great combination of flavors with the sweetness of the pineapple, spiciness of the BBQ sauce and the touch of salty soy sauce.
It’s hard to believe there are only four ingredients in this recipe with all the flavor.
Place your frozen chicken breasts in your slow cooker.
Pour the entire can of pineapple and it’s juice on top of the chicken.
Pour Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce all over the top of the chicken and pineapple.
Pour soy sauce over all of the chicken. Do not mix anything! Place the lid on and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours. I personally don’t like cooking on high. It just seems to turn out so much better when I cook low and slow, my personal preference. My chicken breasts were large and they took about 6 hours on low. I love slow cooking in my 3 in 1 Ninja slow cooker because I can lay the meat flat and it holds a lot. However, you can make this in any slow cooker with the same delicious results.
The pineapple is so good as it soaks in all that flavor!
