Easy Microwave Butter Potatoes
These potatoes are easy to make and so delicious! A great side dish when you’re in a hurry or just want potatoes that taste great. My mother in law loves whenever I make them for her. Whether you are a beginner cook or have been cooking for years, anyone can make these.
Peel and dice 5 medium potatoes.
Place potatoes into a 2 quart microwave
safe dish that has a lid. Add salt, pepper and
dehydrated onions on top of the potatoes.
Place butter pats on top of the potatoes.
Put the lid on and microwave on high for
12 minutes or until the potatoes are tender,
stirring every 3-4 minutes. The dish gets
very hot so make sure you use pot holders.
Garnish with parsley. I think I am going
to try them with bacon next time.

Thank you!
I have never thought of cooking potatoes other than whole with peel on in the microwave I will sure try this. Thank you so much for sharing. Hugs
You are very welcome! Throw in some garlic powder or herbs too! I also leave the skin on a lot but dice them up.
Good ideas. I like leaving the skins on, I eat the skins on baked potatoes.
Really nice share and so simple to make!
Thank you they are so easy and good!
